| Come
and see what Cranberry Ridge has to offer There is a wonderful park like area beside the beach and docks for relaxing and strolling or just playing some bocce ball or horseshoes. The suites all have great views of the lake. The 6 acre rural property is surrounded by farms with an equestrian centre to the south and a sheep farm and working ranch to the north. Half of our property is a forest of alder, cedar, hemlocks, fir and arbutus trees with walking trails to meander through. |

Being located beside a lake and in such a rural area means we enjoy being neighbours with many domesticated animals as well as wildlife. We have our free range chickens (the girls) roaming the property during the day with our Australian Shepard herding dog watching over them. |

In addition to the previously mentioned horses, sheep and llamas we enjoy visits from many less domesticated wildlife such as barn cats, ducks, geese, deer, raccoons, lake otter, beavers etc. Our property is also a birders paradise with woodland and water birds to enjoy. We participate each year as a sighting spot for the annual Salt Spring bird count. |

The lake also offers and opportunity for some quiet contemplation while sitting in one of our rowboats or canoes with a fishing rod in hand. St Mary Lake is well known for the trout and small mouth bass fishing. Check our Recreation page for more to do. | ||||||||||||

And
what about our suites? Well, Morning Glory Cottage and Hollyhock Cottage
are both outfitted with large tubs, wood burning fireplaces or woodstoves
which can be viewed from the king size feather beds. The cozy living
area offers a wonderful space for relaxing indoors.

The
dining areas are supported by great kitchens with an open floor plan.
Honeysuckle Cottage is the smaller of the three with a queen size feather
bed, standard bathtub, full kitchen, wood burning fireplace and a great
living/dining area. All the suites have full cable (Shaw) and TV with
VCR or DVD players.

Cranberry Ridge lakeside country cottages is located about 1 kilometre from Central where you will find the movie theatre, Salt Spring Golf and Country Club, tennis courts, soccer pitch, track and outdoor swimming pool. Central is about 3.5 KM from the village of Ganges and roughly 2 KM from the village of Vesuvius. Quality is Paramount |
